Abkhazia is a peaceful country aspiring to develop mutually beneficial positive neighboring relations with all neighbors in particular with Russia as main economic and strategic partner of Abkhazia, European Union as great economic resource at the Black Sea, Turkey which had become a motherland for great part of Abkhaz people and Georgia which is neighboring but unfortunately still aggressive country.
The economy of Abkhazia is heavily integrated with Russia and uses the Russian ruble as its currency. Tourism is a key industry. The annual number of visitors was estimated by Abkhazian authorities approximately 2 millions.
